Description John Ryding CLA 2008-04-17 09:20:51 EDT
Build ID: I20080415

In the file:
eclipse\plugins\org.eclipse.jdt.core\org\eclipse\jdt\internal\compiler\batch\messages.properties,

we came across the following sentences:

invalid Class-Path header in manifest of jar file: {0}

multiple Class-Path headers in manifest of jar file: {0}

What does the variable {0} stand for in these sentences?

Thank you.
Comment 1 Maxime Daniel CLA 2008-04-17 09:42:39 EDT
The {0} gets replaced by the path of the jar file whose manifest includes the defective Class-Path header. Example:

invalid Class-Path header in manifest of jar file: /home/maxime/libs/myJar.jar

Please feel free to reopen if this remains unclear.

(Resolving as INVALID because this is rather a question than a bug, and we try not to use WORKSFORME or WONTFIX in such cases - the question is legitimate and pls see no offense in the INVALID keyword.)

As per JDT/Core process, marking as verified for 3.4M7
