It should be possible to set the JRE which is used to build and run the project
independetly for each project. This should be realized for the complier
compliance level too, so that you can have different projects running with the
1.4 or the 1.3.

this would be very nice, because now i just delete the JRE_LIB variable and 
make my own classpath variable that points to another rt.jar. And this seems 
to be working fine so it should be possible.

Project settings are in from build 20020924 on, and one can achieve custom JRE 
per project using classpath containers (see advanced option on library pane of 
buildpath wizard).
