input buffer and thread less udp discovery patch

The main changes are:

1.	Isolate input buffering from channel_tcp so it can be reused by other transports (when needed), and so it is easer to change buffering scheme for value adds (when needed)
2.	Changed stream to allow getting characters without calling a function for each character in most cases
3.	Changed discovery_udp to use asyncreq instead of thread
4.	Various bug fixes
