Description Elson Yuen CLA 2008-03-13 11:08:58 EDT
Build ID: WTP 3.0

Steps To Reproduce:
The applications that are installed on the server by the tools are displayed on the Servers view and add/remove projects dialog.

In WTP 3.0, a new mechanism was introduced to display applications that are installed on the server in different mode. This feature causes usability problems on the Server view display if there are a large number of those projects. Therefore, some filtering capability will need to provide to show applications that are installed in different modes to allow the user to reduce the size of the application list on the Servers view and add/remove modules dialog.

With the adoption of CNF for the Servers view, adopter will be able to implement filters. I am closing this bug as a duplicate (for lack of a better keyword) of the CNF changes enhancement (bug# 245013)

Wrong bug number, the correct bug# 246282, which is the enhancement

Closing this defect since the new CNF based servers view already provide filtering capability.
