Description Thorsten Möller CLA 2008-02-19 07:12:48 EST
Hello,

this is a enhancement request for the run configuration creation/management dialog, in particular the CLASSPATH configuration.

Currently, the "Classpath" tab provides the possibility to add other projects from the workspace to the classpath. When doing so the "Project Selection" dialog provides the possibility to add exported entries and required projects of the selected projects. However, this should be extended by another checkbox that would allow to add referenced libraries of the selected projects as well, i.e., libraries listed in the project's "Java Build Path". This would greatly reduce the effort to add a project including its referenced libraries to the classpath. Currently, this is has to be done manually. It is of particular importance for projects that reference libraries which are not stored in the workspace but referenced via variables. For instance, when using Maven and its Eclipse plugin to create Eclipse project files it will reference libraries using a variable M2_REPO extended to point directly to the local Maven repository.
