Description John Arthorne CLA 2008-02-05 10:45:00 EST
Build: I20080205-0010

1) Created a new profile
2) Installed SDK build I20080204-0800 into the profile
3) Selected the SDK, and chose "Uninstall".

After uninstall, the following files are left in the profile install directory:

artifacts.xml -> repo with no contents
plugins/       -> empty directory
eclipse.ini
configuration/
  org.eclipse.equinox.simpleconfigurator/
    bundles.txt -> Still contains all the bundles
  org.eclipse.equinox.source/
    source.bundles.txt -> Still contains all the source bundles.

Expectation: After uninstall there is nothing left.

Need to verify if this is still the case. I'm specifically worried about the bundles.info files with content.

I'm leaving on the radar to try to do something later in the cycle, but I'm skeptical

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.

I'm not sure how one could even do these steps today.
