The expressions view allows the user to edit a watch variable, however the editor that pops up to do so is a simple text area.
This should be an editor identical to the Display view, with auto completion according to the current context. 
The current workaround is to create an expression in the display view, then copy it to the edit watch variable popup.
It would be very helpful to be able to edit the expressions comfortably in the expressions view.
