Some FTP servers require sending custom commands in order to activate some functionality. On AS/400 (System i) for instance, such a command is requird:

The RSE FTP plugin should support sending custom commands from a kind of console. Ideally, the current debugging console should be equipped with a means to input commands (since it already shows the output).
