The fine-grain information would be good to have of search results as well.
The idea is to offer filters and group the results by match locations.

(-> we could rename it from 'finegrain' to 'match location'..)

The first approach would be to set this fine-grain information in search results only if the pattern was created with fine-grain flags... The second possibility would be to set this information even if no fine-grain flags was specified while creating the search pattern.

If we're quite sure that the former as no performance impact, the latter would be chosen only if we found a way to do it also without any performance impact...

Jerome, do you think this should be added on 3.4 plan?

This is for improving grouping of search results. Maybe for 3.5 given it is not immediate data at reach today.
