Hi, I have been using a variety of SVn tools (Tortoise, Subclipse and now Subversive) and have certainly been finding Subversive the most feature rich at the moment. However, one area where it behaves different to the other tools is when I have some new files in a new folder. Firstly, it only appears to offer the new folder for addition, and only when synchronising later does it offer up the files inside the folder for addition (I think). I mention this part here incase it adds context to my issue below. The principal point of this post is to note that when I go to "commit" these new files (e.g. add them to version control, and commit that to the repository) it does not use the bugtraq properties - in my case a JIRA key box. Instead I must right-click the files, select "add to version control..." and then commit - in this instance it correctly reads the properties. The other tools I have used still offer the bugtraq box, even when the "commit" operation is to add new files that have not yet been "added to version control". Adding this into Subversive would be very useful for me, as our project manager does not take kindly to people adding changes without the bugtraq keys, and it's easy to forget when the box is not displayed. Commentary and feedback on this issue welcomed ! Ben Turner
Fix will be available in the next Subversive build.
