Steps To Reproduce:
1. add include paths and include files to a project
2. the include paths are displayed in the common viewer, the includes are not

It would be quite useful to see also include and macro files in the include node of the common viewer.

Gerhard, the patch does not work with discovered pre-include files and I could not find a way in CDT to configure pre-include files manually. So, IMHO there is no real use case for CDT currently.
