Description Boris Pruessmann CLA 2002-06-26 06:02:41 EDT
Build GM3

The ECLIPSE_HOME classpath variable doesn't appear when it's referenced by a
project. If I try to add the ECLIPSE_HOME manually in the preferences dialog
it appears there but when opening preferences again, the variable has
disappeared.

Seems to work again with GM4...
Comment 2 Dan Kehn CLA 2002-06-26 22:36:47 EDT
FYI... see http://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=20197. Probably should
mark this as a duplicate -- but it definitely isn't fixed in GM4. If you unzip
and go directly to the Java Build Path, ECLIPSE_HOME isn't there. Not subtle
either, we had numerous errors when we loaded from CVS into a fresh install of
GM4. Apparently the bug is dependent on the order in which you initially use
the PDE / JDT.

Dan is correct, this is a dup of 20197
