The new service policy framework and UI was introduced in RFE bug 196997.  It's now in the WTP 3.0 M3 driver.  There are still some enhancements that needs to be completed and we are using this RFE to track them for WTP 3.0 M4:

1. Complete the WTP support
-add "enable project preference" checkbox
-workspace vs. project level preference filter
-update ext. point schemas (differentiating between servicepol & servicepolui)
-javadoc and comments to code

2. Complete the support required by adoptors
-support for OperationKinds: complex, iconSelection, selection
-ability to add/remove nodes from tree (listen for add/remove then refresh
tree)
-add hidden "tree details" expandable section for tertiary & higher level nodes

3. Complete generic support provided by framework
-listen for IStatus messages added

4. Add Quick Fix link & Dialog.

5. Miscellaneous items.

mass change to add 'contributed' keyword based on bugzilla query, please correct if that's not accurate (by marking patches as obsolete and removing the 'contributed' keyword.
