Currently, plug-in developers can select a BREE on the first plug-in wizard page. This great, however this really belongs on the second page with the other specific plug-in options.

Noticed this bug while browsing the inbox.  Wassim just filed a dupe and I added a patch for it.  Marking this as the dupe.
