Build ID: I20070621-1340 Steps To Reproduce: 1. Build an RCP application based on eclipse-cpp-europa (Eclipse 3.3.0/CDT 4.0.0), signing JARs 2. Try jarsigner -verify org.eclipse.cdt.core_4.0.0.200706261300.jar 3. It fails (note this specific JAR contains another JAR) 4. Try to sign the original org.eclipse.cdt.core_4.0.0.200706261300.jar yourself with jarsigner => it works. The RCP build does something more which obviously isn't good More information: Having an incorrectly signed JAR causes the install site in the Manage Configuration dialog to disappear, as described in bug 175831. I am attaching: - the original org.eclipse.cdt.core_4.0.0.200706261300.jar - the (wrong) JAR produced by the RCP headless build - the (good) JAR signed with jarsigner

Currently we are not actively enhancing PDE build anymore. Therefore, I close this bug as WONTFIX. Please reopen, if you plan to provide a fix.
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it.
