Currently in the outline view and the Design view, you can add a DTD reference to an XML Instance, but there is no way to easily add the equivalant grammar that is based on a XML Schema.

It would be nice if through a context menu, that an option to add the xmlns:xsi= and xsi:schemaLocation could be added if they don't already exist. Many of my users want a quick way to associate a specific XML Schema with an XML Instance that may not have the appropriate schemaLocation. An XML Catalog will not work as their are multiple schemas that fall under one common namespace and they need to choose the appropriate one.
