Description Eric Eiswerth CLA 2007-09-06 09:35:24 EDT
Often when I am building my workspace I want to continue working on files since waiting for the build to complete is a tedious and time-consuming process. I realize that this is already supported, however, I also have the habit of pressing 'Ctrl+s' so that I have my worked saved constantly. This creates a problem during the build process because if I am building and working on a file at the same time and then choose to save the file, the save operation gets queued as a "User Operation". The issue now is that I can't do anything while the "Save" operation is queued and I am forced to wait for the build to complete. It would be great if there were a way to save during a build and continue immediate editing of the file just as normal. I'm not even necessarily concerned if the file gets saved or not, I just want to continue working while the workspace is building.

You can cancel the build operation manually without causing any harm.
