It appears as though the Web Page Designer could be migrated and refactored so that it could be distributed as part of WST.   This could replace the or be an additional plugin for HTML creation.

Any such refactoring would need to start with the JSF component committers deciding it's worthwhile.

This is defintely desirable, but due to resource constraints may not make the cut for 3.0. We will revisit this once we have a better picture of the work we plan to do for 3.0. Marking it as helpwanted to invite others to work on this task.

We will revisit this and either complete the work or WONTFIX the bug after feature refactoring, depending on what makes sense at that time.
