I have reorganized the scanner discovery tests such that they are run for the per file scanner discovery, also. I got a the following failures:
testParsingSymbolDefinitions(), testParsingSymbolDefinitions_bug80271() and testParsingUnbalancedDoubleQuote_Bug186065().

I have pulled together the implementations of the two build-output parsers into their base class, all tests are passing now.
Fixed in 4.0.1 > 20070718.
