Description Kevin Doyle CLA 2007-07-13 17:08:17 EDT
If you try to create a new Linux, Unix, or Windows connection the Files subsystem by default is ftp.files instead of dstore.files.

Dave --
I noticed your instant message. No, I haven't changed anything that would affect this since the release.

I don't think this is a regression. It's actually a duplicate of bug #165674 which is assigned to DaveM and has never been marked fixed.

For bug #165674 it was necessary to install RSE in two steps via update manager in order to produce the problem -- it seems the ordering of services in the new connection wizard depends on the order in which plugins are installed (or in which the extension registry is read).

For a quick fix, I think the services could be ordered alphabetically. In the longer term, the whole wizard UI should be revamped.
