When saving a diagram as an image file (GIF, BMP, JPEG, JPG, or         
SVG), the save fails (without an error). The file shows up with a red X 
in it.                                                                  
The request is to have an error shown in the .log file and possibly a message box/console entry informing the user that the save has failed.

This issue has been fixed with a fix that went in for 160386
