The "Creating a Subsystem Configuration" Tutorial is out of date.  

If you look at the code for DeveloperConnectorService in the tutorial it will show code for hasRemoteServerLauncherProperties() but thats a final method in AbstractConnectorService.

Also the code it shows for editing the plugin.xml does not include all required fields.

I didn't go through the whole tutorial in detail just saw these things quickly, so there are probably other things that are out of date.
