In the Remote Systems Details view with the view showing the connections you have created right click in the empty space. You get the menu: Open in new Window Show in Table Rename Team Compare With Restore from Local History... PDE Tools Properties I would expect to get the same right click menu you get when you have nothing selected in the Remote Systems View which just shows "New Connection" If you go into your Local connection and do a right click on the empty space you get a different menu with options that you shouldn't be allowed as well. In that case I would expect Move Up/Down to not be there as well as show in table. If you go into your Local Files and do a right click on the empty space you get a menu that contains Show in Table. I've changed this so that the context menu doesn't contribute unnecessary RSE actions. The only problem now is that we still have: Restore from Local History... PDE Tools Properties This doesn't happen in the system view. Does anyone know how to prevent these actions from showing up in the table view?
This might be a Platform bug due to not-yet-loaded propertyTester plugins. Try hovering over the unwanted menu items once, then close the menu, then open it again. They might be gone. This is what I saw with the "Run AS..." / "Debug As..." menu items in the project explorer or RSE Tree after initial Eclipse start.
