We should review the error messages to remove trailing spaces or dots.
Only the one for Javadoc should have a trailing space since it is concatenated with other messages.
A better way to handle this would be:
Javadoc: {0} and we would substitute {0} with the concatenation part.

Trivial change, but many regression tests to update.

Are there regressions outside our tests ? (thinking of UI tests as well)

I don't know.
I need to fix the messages and run all the tests. Even if there are test failures elsewhere, we should fix these.

This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.
