This will serve as a placeholder for changes made to SSE preferences ("Structured Text Editors" & most of the pages under "Web and XML")

There's already 1 existing documentation bug related to preference changes:

Bug 173965 - Remove redundant file types from preference page names
  Most of the pages have been renamed, new screencaps will be needed
Bug 172253 - Coloring preference pages should be more consistent with platform
  The "Styles" pages have been dropped in favor of new pages resembling the Java Syntax Coloring page

bug 113584 - a new preference "Align final bracket in multi-line element tags" was added to XML & HTML Source preference pages

bug 84688 comment #10 - a new preference "Preserve whitespace in tags with PCDATA content" was added to the XML Source preference page

bug 177387 - The Eclipse base has implemented a hyperlinking preference page where users can specify which hyperlink navigation they want on/off.  The XML/HTML/JSP hyperlinking are included in the list of hyperlinks users can control.  This new preference page can be found under the Text Editors preference page.

Bug 177408 has again changed the "Syntax Coloring" preference pages for XML, HTML, DTD, JSP, JavaScript, and CSS, by creating separate foreground and background color editor buttonss as well as a "Restore Default" button.
