It might be nice to be able to specify a column to use for a primary key in the case where one is not explicitly specified in the database table (common with DB2 databases). Or to be able to choose multiple columns for a compound key.  

Also, you could select the column(s) to be used for Auto Key Generation and the appropriate annotation would be created in your entity class.
