Description Shug Boabby CLA 2007-01-05 14:11:15 EST
1. Create a valid Java file using UTF-8 encoding, and name a variable with a UTF-8 specific character in it. For example use the Greek alpha (UTF-8 character 177)
2. Export to Javadoc
3. Experience errors

It is possible to work around this by using the advanced features of the javadoc export Wizard to force the use of the "-encoding utf8" parameter... but as Eclipse already knows the file encoding, it should add this automatically.

(I should also report a bug about bugzilla, because when I reached the "enter bug" page it had forgotten everything I'd typed in on the details page! Using Safari)

What exactly (steps) did you perform and which build?
