Description Michael Rennie CLA 2006-12-13 12:01:36 EST
Currently the OpenType dialog always shows all of the subtypes of any types passed to it, this might not be what is desired if a very specific scope is supplied.

There should be some way to indicate that subtypes should (or should not) be calculated for the supplied scope.
Comment 1 Frederic Fusier CLA 2006-12-19 09:04:31 EST
There's currently no way to specify that scope should not enclose sub-types. As it would be a major breakage to add this kind of functionality on IJavaSearchScope, we will not address this request until a real strong need has been identified.
=> Close as WONTFIX

See also bug 167638 which was the origin of the request but was finally fixed without any extra functionality on IJavaSearchScope...
