Description Christian Dupuis CLA 2006-12-13 05:04:43 EST
It would be very helpful if the XRef plugins can be installed without installing complete AJDT. That would allow other plugins to use the XRef View without requiring the user to install AJDT.

This could be accomplished by creating a seperate feature for the XRef plugins as well as including them in AJDT. The seperate feature should be hosted on the update site as well.

This will take a bit of work creating the feature and getting the build process to include it. We should be able to do this before the 1.5 release (next June). Do you have a particular time frame for when you it?

This is now complete. The update site url for the XRef feature is:
http://download.eclipse.org/tools/ajdt/xref/update/
This is updated whenever there is a development build of AJDT for Eclipse 3.3.

I've also created a basic XRef page here:
