In RSM or RSA, when you place the mouse over a connector, you get an icon that looks the same as when holding ctrl and moving an item to copy it. 
Maybe because you can add a bendpoint to the connector, but I think the icon is confusing to be the same as when copying stuff. It should be more meaningful to the user.
