Description Dan Winterstein CLA 2006-08-30 08:01:33 EDT
The JavaDoc tool supports defining custom tags (via the taglet interface). However there is currently no way to get the Eclipse JavaDoc view to use custom tags.

I don't know how the view currently converts JavaDoc, but this probably shouldn't be too hard.

It would require a user-defined option for setting taglet classes and a taglet path. This would be either in the JavaDoc view or under Java preferences. Ideally the taglet path should support the use of Eclipse variables, so it can point at an Eclipse project.

No plans to work on this until we get a good quality patch.
