Hi,

Under Eclipse 3.2 and Windows XP
- I create an RCP application from the project template "RCP Mail template".
When
- I export the project from " .product" overview

Under Windows 98
- I launch the RCP application
- when I quit the application with the menu item "quit, a bug occurs

ECLIPSE a causé une exception 03H dans le module ECLIPSE.EXE à 017f:00406f60.

Is eclipse.exe officially supported on Windows 98?  It should work I think.  Andrew do you know?

Windows 98 is not a reference platform, which means that we don't test on it, but I believe that it should work.

Does the crash happen when you run Eclipse itself on win98?
Is the rcp launcher branded with different icons?

1) Does the crash happen when you run Eclipse itself on win98? : I don't know.
2) Is the rcp launcher branded with different icons? 
  I don't change the code that has been created by the Eclispe wizard "new project" with template "RCP Mail template". The branding page of "*.product" contains only 
  "Windows Image : 
     16*16 Image : icons/sample2.gif"
  
  that has been generated by the wizard

Major rework has happened to eclipse.exe for 3.3.  Does this still happen for you on 3.3 M6?  Andrew, have we tried the new launcher on Win 98?

No I haven't tried it on win98, I don't think we have any machines here that are running 98.

We need someone to confirm that the 3.3 launcher fails or succeeds on Windows 98.

This may or may not have been fixed with the launcher changes in 3.3

I don't anticipate any further effort on this.
