There is no emf validation on the "Layout Constraint" of notation model, negative value may cause the figure invisble.
[reproduce] 
1. Select a shape on diagram.
2. In the "advance" tab of property sheet view, at "view/Layout Constraint/heigth" field, input a negative value, the shape will become invisible..., without any error msg output on status line.

I cannot duplicate with either the taipan or ecore generated diagrams in 1.0.1. 
X = -a and/or Y = -b fixes the shape at 0 co-ordinate
Height = -1 and/or width = -1 turns on autosize.
 
Resolving as fixed in 1.0.1.

Happen to find that it can be reproduced on ecore generated diagrams in v1.0.1.
