Description Martin Oberhuber CLA 2006-08-02 07:34:30 EDT
The Eclipse Platform uses the file plugin_customization.ini, in order to allow entities shipping an Eclipse-based products to configure the components that are part of the product.

For RSE, such configuration should be possible for:
* Completely disabling predefined systemTypes (and probably also subsystems) such that they are not even visible in the Preference page

As such, plugin_customization.ini should be used instead of the rseConfigDefaults extension point, which is to be considered obsolete

Kushal I believe this is fixed by your changes of rseConfigDefaults.
Please mark it as fixed and add your comments.

Kushal do we have docs explaining what settings exist in plugin_customization.ini and how to change them?
I believe that for the "Empty List" think, DaveD wrote something up in the Javadoc of SystemsPreferencesManager, but would extenders find this?

If not, can you please file a new bug asking for the docs? (By cloning this one)

[target cleanup] 2.0 RC2 was the original target milestone for this bug
