Description eclipse.survey CLA 2006-07-11 03:44:37 EDT
The Ecore diagram editor should display :
- the name of an abstract class in italics
- the type of an attribute after the name (i.e. name : type)
- an indicator for a derived attribute (e.g. the name of the attribute prefixed with '/')
Comment 1 Alex Shatalin CLA 2006-07-25 06:30:01 EDT
Currently it is possible to implement:

- the name of an abstract class in italics
- an indicator for a derived attribute (e.g. the name of the attribute prefixed
with '/')

only by specifying different mappings for each of this situation(s), but in this case changes of the model properties should affect visual representation - changes of the view + EditPart for this element. See 150257 describing corresponding changes in a runtime code.

I use GMF2.0M1 and the requested enhancements are not there. Will they be taken into account into the ecore diagram editor ?
Comment 3 Alex Shatalin CLA 2006-09-07 10:01:13 EDT

I just discovered the Ecore Tools sub-project from the EMF Technology project.
If this project is the standard EMF diagram tool (it is included in the Ganymede Modeling package), enhancements to the Ecore sample diagram editor is no more relevant.
