Description eclipse.survey CLA 2006-07-04 05:47:40 EDT
The Ecore diagram editor is great but lacks :
- the display of the cardinality of a relationship
- the display of the name of a relationship should be attached to the end of the relationship instead of in the middle
- the display of bidirectional relationship (a relationship with an opposite relationship) with the name and the cardinality of the opposite relationship in the other end.
Comment 1 eclipse.survey CLA 2006-07-06 03:37:06 EDT
Can you consider only the display of the cardinality for "single relationship" for inclusion for GMF 1.0.x ?

We will, but I'm not cure it is allowed due to the following policy: http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/Version_Numbering

Association link cardinalities are visible on diagrams form now (since bug #172277 was fixed)
Comment 4 Anthony Hunter CLA 2007-05-01 09:22:23 EDT
Since GMF 2.0 M6 was released April 5, 2007, doing a bulk move of all open Bugzillas currently on M6 to 2.0 M7. Owners will need to access if the issue really is targetted for 2.0 M7.
Comment 5 Alex Shatalin CLA 2007-06-05 10:10:34 EDT
Moving to the next version.

I just discovered the Ecore Tools sub-project from the EMF Technology project.
If this project is the standard EMF diagram tool (it is included in the Ganymede Modeling package), enhancements to the Ecore sample diagram editor is no more relevant.
