Description Fedor Isakov CLA 2006-06-22 14:42:54 EDT
Using GMF RC5 and taipan example.

Having a route between two ports selected, alter the destination with the property editor. Model is updated, but the diagram is not. Have to close and reopen the diagram for changes to be visualised.

Big changes required for it. Moving to next release.
Comment 2 Alex Shatalin CLA 2006-07-25 06:08:40 EDT
This problem exists because currently GMF generates only one CanonicalConnectionEditPolicy for diagram dealing with all the connection updates. In the same time, notification from model element came to the EditPolicy installed on link source editpart.

A workaround could be implemented, but it'll be better to change generated code and align it with the runtime (see 150408).

Since GMF 2.0 M6 was released April 5, 2007, doing a bulk move of all open Bugzillas currently on M6 to 2.0 M7. Owners will need to access if the issue really is targetted for 2.0 M7.
