Description Curtis d'Entremont CLA 2006-06-16 10:43:19 EDT
3.2 RC7

In Help under Plug-in Development Environment Guide > Tools > New File Creation Wizards > Extension Point Schema, the first paragraph says:

"An extension point schema is a valid XML schema as defined by the W3C specification that defines..."

However the schema is not a valid XML schema. As Wassim mentioned it was never meant to be, so this looks like a docs bug.

The text is certainly wrong.
Comment 2 Mike Pawlowski CLA 2007-06-08 17:22:06 EDT
Noam astutely pointed out this mistake in the new schema documentation.
I tried to validate an extension point schema using a parser and got 500 errors !!
