The location to define preprocessor symbols is different in the "GCC C Compiler" and "GCC C++ Compiler" tool. In the C-Compiler tool is an extra option category called "Symbols" but in the C++ Compiler tool the symbols are in the option category "Preprocessor". Target system is "GNU on Windows", executable or library. Im using CDT3.1.0_RC3. The same behavior can be reproduced with CDT3.0.2.
This seems like an inconsistency for me. Leo, was there any special reason for having different preprocessor categories for gcc and g++?
The GNU property categories were designed before I began working on the MBS. I don't know why they are inconsistent, and I agree that it would be better if they were not. When the chnage is made, be sure to not change any option IDs or a converter will be required. Leo
You can't have a target milestone set if no one has taken ownership of the bug to commit to the milestone.
