3.2 RC5

The OpenQuickOutlineTest performance measurement shows a 20% degradation since 3.1. We need to investigate why this happens, and either fix the problem or explain it.

This is something we want to address for 3.3.

The test is a little bit shaky and latest 3.2.2 perf results don't show that regression any longer, e.g:

In addition the performance got improved during 3.3 (as of I200704:
