Description Martin Oberhuber CLA 2006-05-19 07:22:51 EDT
Create a connection.
Switch to Resource Perspective.
View Menu > Filters > disable hiding RemoteSystemsConnections.
Check in the RemoteSystemsConnections into CVS.
Switch to the RSE Team View.
Choose Refresh.
Choose "Reload Remote Systems Explorer".

When switching back to the RSE view, it is completely empty.
Upon quit and re-start of RSE, all connections are visible again.
The DOM that I've been using is attached to bug 142718.

I've noticed this too. Don't do that action for now.

This is a team operation and there are several team enhancements in the works for 2.0. We'll make progress on it for 1.0.1 but cannot commit for that release.

Raising to P2. Reload must be made benign even if it doesn't really reload. Actually reloading would be ideal. I used it once and it closed all my perspectives.

"Reload" should:
Suspend profile save operations.
Close all connections.
Remove all profiles from memory (but not the persistent forms of course).
Reload all profiles.
Resume profile save operations.

This item can be delayed until 2.0.1 as the operation is not externalized.
Comment 5 Martin Oberhuber CLA 2007-06-04 12:59:39 EDT
Isn't this the same as pressing the "Refresh" toolbar button in the Team View?

Comment 8 Martin Oberhuber CLA 2011-05-31 17:49:19 EDT
Bulk moving 3.3 deferred items to 3.3.1

Ping ... what would be an appropriate target milestone ?
