Description Dani Megert CLA 2002-04-15 10:08:17 EDT
The PackageExplorer assumes the input to be a container or otherwise sets it to
the root. This will be a problem if the input is a Java element (e.g. package
from an internal JAR).

Test Case will be (once the dependent PR is fixed):
Select a package from an intern JAR and then from the context menu "Open in New
Window".
Comment 1 Erich Gamma CLA 2002-05-16 15:24:55 EDT
defer to after 2.0
Comment 2 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2002-07-23 12:41:36 EDT
[package explorer]

Consider for 2.1
Comment 3 Dirk Baeumer CLA 2003-04-28 06:03:08 EDT
Chaning state from assigned later to resolved later. Assigned later got
introduced by the last bug conversion and is not a supported Eclipse bug state.
Comment 4 Eclipse Webmaster CLA 2009-08-30 02:40:41 EDT
As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
