Description icemank CLA 2006-04-02 21:44:36 EDT
Since 3.2M6, the F5 key no longer refreshes the resource tree in package explorer or navigator in JDT or PDE perspective. It works fine in the Resources perspective.
Removing the F5 binding to "Step Into" while Debugging resolves this issue.
However, since I am not debugging and I am not in the Debug perspective, I should not have to use this workaround.
This problem did not exist in 3.2M5

It depends if you are debugging at this moment. While debuging F5 will always be "Step Into".

Can you confirm?

Like I mentioned in my original bug report, I was neither debugging nor was I in the debug perspective at the time I observed this problem. However, I just restored the original bindings and F5 is working properly again. Is it possible that a debugging session was still alive in the background? Because I did not see it listed in the debug view.
I suppose you could close this bug.

I will keep an eye open for this.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.
