Description Benno Baumgartner CLA 2006-02-14 06:46:27 EST
M5 test path

1. Select a test failure
2. Switch to another test through the history
3. Switch back
The test failure is not selected anymore
expected: The failure remains selected

Fair request. The selection should be stored specific to the view instance, such that showing the same test run in different instances does not change the selection in other views.

Do you agree it is enough the only store the selection, or do you think it's worth storing the expansion state as well?

The use case I have in mind is that you have a test failer and select it to see what went wrong. Then you go to a previous test run in the history to see if the same thing went wrong. Then you go back because by now you have allready forgotten what went wrong in the other test;-) But now the selection is gone.

I only work with 'show failers only' but for those who don't it may be good to store the expansion state as well.
