Description Dani Megert CLA 2006-01-25 11:09:03 EST
R3.1 and I20060124-1115.

Most JDT actions don't update on editor input change.

Test Case:
1. Window > Preferences > General > Editors
2. check 'Close editors automatically'
3. set 'Number of open editors before closing' to 1
4. press 'OK'
5. open a file from repository (e.g. via CVS Resource History view)
6. make some valid selection in the editor
7. open the main 'Source', 'Refactoring' or 'Navigate' menu ('Source' is best)
==> most actions are disable (OK, in fact all should be disabled, but
       that's another bug)
8. while the editor is still open, open a CU which is in your workspace and
   which is editable
9. open the menu from step 7.
==> BUG: most actions are still disabled and - this is pretty bad - there's no way to enable them except closing the editor and reopening.
Comment 1 Eclipse Genie CLA 2020-01-29 00:02:30 EST
This bug hasn't had any activity in quite some time. Maybe the problem got resolved, was a duplicate of something else, or became less pressing for some reason - or maybe it's still relevant but just hasn't been looked at yet. As such, we're closing this bug.

If you have further information on the current state of the bug, please add it and reopen this bug. The information can be, for example, that the problem still occurs, that you still want the feature, that more information is needed, or that the bug is (for whatever reason) no longer relevant.
