The WSDL delegate validator, run by the WSDL editor, does not display all WSDL errors. Specifically, inline schema validation and WSDL semantic (such as an incorrect binding reference from a service) errors are not displayed.

This is just an observation: now that the as-you-type validation was changed to invoke only the most specific validator - see https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=136447 - the WSDL editor will not display any squiggles at all. Previously, the XML validator would be run in addition to the WSDL one and was producing some XML squiggles.
True, this bug needs to be fixed in order to fix this problem. Personally I'm willing to accept this tradeoff in the name of consistency.
Lawrence, I concur. I was simply stating the facts - I am not advocating for going back to the old behaviour. It may be worthwile to broaden the bug summary to reflect that no errors are underlined.
Valentin, over to you.
just noting that this still still a problem in wtp 2.0.1.
Marking as enhancement.
