Description Kathy Chan CLA 2005-11-04 15:29:47 EST
Driver: 1104_0542 I-build

On the proxy page, the output folder cannot be editted. So the user could not
set it to another source folder. This field is editable in the top-down
scenario.

Hi Chris,
I've made an initial investigation of this defect. Currently the WSDL2JavaCommand and the Stub2BeanCommand each calculate the output source location for the client project. They currently both get the first source directory for the project. To fix this bug we would need to change the UI so that the user is presented with a combo box of client project source locations instead of the current read only text field. The mapping for UI and commands would also need to be done. Since, this is not a simple fix, I would recommend that this defect be deferred. Thanks.

Peter,
thanks for assessing the bug. Agreed and deferred. Would you please tackle it early in WTP 1.5 so that we can offer a patch to folks in the community who are looking for this fix?

Cheers - CB.
