create a Logic Diagram 
Drop 2 notes on the diagram and connect them together with a note attachment
select the note attachment, right click and select Show Properties view
you will notice that FontSize, Italic, Bold, FontColor and Fill Color are 
enabled in the properties view although they are disabled on the tool bar

I have a fix for this so I'm going to steal it :)

- Font widgets are still enabled for connections that don't support the font style (note attachments / lines etc).  Widgets are now grayed out for connections that don't have the font style installed on the view.
