Description Vishy Ramaswamy CLA 2005-09-06 11:48:03 EDT
The singleton editing domain, OperationUtil, ResourceUtil etc. should be moved
into a separate plugin and removed out of GMF runtime. The runtime cannot make
assumptions about managing resources within a singleton editing domain.

This work is related to the bug 121508. All the old msl code is going into the compatability layer
Comment 2 Christian Damus CLA 2006-02-13 11:49:44 EST
The MEditingDomain class and related APIs have been deprecated, and will be removed from GMF as soon as possible. Clients still depending on this API are required to port to the new API in the org.eclipse.gmf.runtime.emf.core plug-in.
