When the focus is in a view, the print icon (and print menu item) are greyed
out. I assume that this means that printing support is not available.

Could print support be added for views?

If the generic capability is too complex, could at least print support be added
to the Hierarchy view? Nothing complex, just a straight print of what is in the
view.

As a side note, I cannot "select all"/"copy" the text in the Hieararchy view,
otherwise I would copy the text, then paste it into an editor and print it from
there ...

It's up to each view to decide whether it supports printing.
Moving to JDT UI for the Hierarchy print request.

Side note: most of the UML tooling support printing and should therefore support
printing hierarchies as well.

As of now 'LATER' and 'REMIND' resolutions are no longer supported.
Please reopen this bug if it is still valid for you.

I'm keeping the bug open, but no one from the dev team will work on that. High quality Gerrit changes are welcome.

It would indeed be very nice to be able to hit ctrl-a and then ctrl-c to copy the entire type hierarchy to the clipboard.
